Hola, soy Miriam, fundadora de Your Spanish Academy. Soy licenciada en Filología Hispánica y, después de años pensando en cómo aprende realmente la gente un idioma, creé esta academia con una idea muy simple: deberías empezar a hablar desde el primer día, no memorizar reglas durante meses antes de que alguien te deje hablar.

Construí Your Spanish Academy alrededor de la personalización, porque no hay dos alumnos que lleguen al mismo sitio de la misma manera. Cada plan, cada profesora, cada primera clase empieza por tus objetivos, no por un temario fijo.

Cuando no estoy diseñando planes de estudio o buscando la profesora perfecta para cada alumno, suelo pensar en el idioma desde el otro lado: actualmente me estoy formando para convertirme en traductora e intérprete jurada.

Hi, I'm Miriam, founder of Your Spanish Academy. I hold a degree in Spanish Philology, and after years spent thinking about how people actually learn languages, I started this academy around one simple idea: you should be speaking from day one, not memorizing rules for months before anyone lets you talk.

I built Your Spanish Academy around personalization, because no two learners get there the same way. Every plan, every teacher match, every first lesson starts with your goals — not a fixed syllabus.

When I'm not building lesson plans or matching students with the right teacher, I'm usually thinking about language from the other side too — I'm currently training to become a certified translator and interpreter myself.

Hi! I'm Anaïs, and I can't wait to be your new Spanish teacher. I hold a university degree in teaching and translation, and I've spent more than four years teaching online — to kids, teens, and adults alike. Languages have shaped my whole life: learning them opened doors I never expected, and that's exactly what I want for you.

My approach is built around you. I adapt every activity and exercise to your goals and your pace, in a relaxed setting where you can actually use what you learn instead of just memorizing it. Expect games, videos, and real conversation from your very first lesson, so Spanish feels useful right away — not abstract. I can't wait to meet you and get started.

Hi, I hope you're doing well! I'm Patricia, and I'm excited to help you reach your goals. As a translator and interpreter — and a lifelong language obsessive — I know exactly how hard it can be to build the fluency and confidence it takes to hold a real conversation with a native speaker. After finishing my degree and a Master's in Foreign Language Teaching and Acquisition, I realized how much I loved helping people get there. So I became a teacher.

Outside of languages, you'll usually find me cooking, playing sports, reading, traveling, or catching up with friends over coffee. Sound like your kind of people? I can't wait to meet you.
